DAY 01

Arrival in Windhoek

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Off The Beaten Path Safari driver guide will meet you. We will drive through the Khomas Hochland and down the escarpment via one of the scenic mountain passes into the Namib Desert. Explore landmarks like Christ Church and the Independence Memorial Museum.

Windhoek to Sossusvlei (Namib-Naukluft National Park)

After breakfast, depart from your hotel and drive to Sossusvlei.The dunes in this area are some of the highest in the world, reaching almost 400 meters. They provide opportunities to capture wonderful images in the beautiful morning and evening light. For the adventurous, you have the option of climbing or sliding down the dunes, or enjoy a brisk walk to Dead Vlei. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the many highlights that surrounds Sossusvlei itself.Meals: Breakfast in Windhoek, picnic lunch en route, and dinner at the lodge

Sossusvlei Exploration

After breakfast, you will have the whole day to explore this lovely park and its surroundings. We can also assist in arranging some optional activities for you. If you are up for an adventure then there is quad biking, sand boarding and Short hike in the canyon. Meals: Breakfast at the lodge, lunch at the Sesriem campsite, dinner at the lodge.

Sossusvlei to Swakopmund

After breakfast, you will have the whole day to explore this lovely town and its surroundings.Walk around town and visit local attractions. Meals: Breakfast at the lodge, lunch en route, and seafood dinner in Swakopmund.

Swakopmund Adventure Day

Swakopmund is known for its very relaxed atmosphere, and it has something for everybody. There are plenty of great restaurants and bars, good shopping opportunities and fascinating architecture. We can also assist in arranging some optional activities for you. If you are up for an adventure then there is quad biking, sand boarding or dolphin cruise.

Swakopmund to Damaraland

This bleak and evocatively named area is one of the most unusual coastal wildernesses on the planet, protecting about a third of Namibia’s long coastline. This beautiful mountainous region is home to an assortment of scientifically important desert-adapted wildlife such as elephant, rhino, zebra and lion, which somehow survive and thrive in this near-barren landscape. Visit rock engravings and search for desert-adapted elephants. Meals: Breakfast at the hotel, packed lunch, dinner at the lodge

Damaraland to Etosha National Park

In the drier months of the year, almost all the animals tend to congregate around the waterholes dotted around the massive park. They come to drink water and are inevitably followed by predators. This allows us to sit and wait at some of the waterholes and for the action to come to us. This is what sets Etosha apart from other parks in southern or east Africa; unique indeed!Enjoy your Afternoon game drive through the park. Meals: Breakfast at the lodge, lunch en route, and dinner at the lodge in Etosha

Windhoek

After an early morning breakfast, we will depart for Windhoek where you will catch your connecting flight. End Of Tour
